    California Houndsmen for Conservation (CHC) is honored to be partnered with many fine organizations and agencies in the pursuit of greater appreciation, awareness, and understanding of our rich wildlife. Whether it is helping to instill and foster a love of the outdoors in young adults, capturing mountain lions so that they can be monitored along the urban interface of fragmented populations, or sponsoring campaigns to teach people how to avoid conflicts with black bears of the Tahoe Basin, CHC gladly lends our time, talent, and funds for these worthwhile causes.

Law Enforcement

    California Houndsmen for Conservation (CHC) is a proud supporter of our state’s law enforcement agencies, and we gladly donate our time, money, expertise, and influence to causes that will help educate, train, supply, and assist our deputies, police officers, and fish and game wardens. These dedicated individuals represent the thin green, blue, and black lines between the safety, security, and protection of our state residents and natural resources and the harm that might otherwise be done.
